A hands-on Senior Accountant/Chief Accountant is required to manage and lead a dedicated team within a dynamic and energetic South Auckland organisation. Reporting to a supportive FC, you will have the opportunity to utilise their astute leadership techniques to expand and further develop your skill set within a sociable company culture.

Responsibilities will include:

• Full management of the month end process as well as key involvement in budgeting and forecasting for 3 companies within the group

• Inventory management and review of BOM's as well as cost accounting work within factory parameters

• Day-to-day management of the transactional team including AP, AR, Payroll and Assistant Accountant

• Involvement in various business and system improvement projects across the group

• Management of the Audit / Tax process within the group

To be successful in this role you will:

• Come from an inventory, warehousing or manufacturing environment and hold an intricate understanding of inventory, cost or stock accounting

• Have successfully managed a team in previous role/roles

• Ideally hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting or similar

• Be able to maintain an outgoing, energetic and positive attitude within a busy team environment
